教学目标:
认知目标:全体学生能初步理解词汇they, tiger, big, lion, elephant, monkey, fat, baby。
能力目标?:
1.全体学生能初步运用词汇they, they’re= they are.部分学生能初步运用词汇tiger, big, lion, elephant, monkey, fat.
2.部分学生能初步运用语句What are they? They’re ….
情感目标:
1.培养学生学习英语的兴趣。
2.增强学生爱护动物的责任心。
教学重点:
1.能口头运用What’s this?/ What are they 这类语句询问动物名称,能用It’s a/ an …. They’re ….这类语句回答。
2.识别单词:they, monkey, tiger, lion, elephant, fat.
教学难点:
What are they? They’re monkeys/ lions/ tigers/ elephants.
教学过程?:?
Step1: Warm-up
1. T: Class begins. Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Ms Li.
T: Do you like animals? Ss: Yes.
T: I like animals, too. Now , Let’s talk about animals. First, Let’s play a guessing game.
T: 播放课件(件出示动物身体的一部分,让学生来猜。最后教师用课件出示完整的图片。)
Ss: Look at the? TV, 用句型Is it a …?来猜测。
2.T: Let’s chant.
Step 2:Presentation
1. Learn new words.
T: Do you like these animals? Ss: Yes.
1)T:展示单词,检查预习情况.
Now I’ve got some word cards about animals. Let’s have a look. What words can’t read in your group?每组的小组长汇报。然后先由其他同学解答,都没有会的,老师解答。
2)T: Let’s show.
Ss: 小组长组织选择用不同的方式展示朗读单词.
T: 播放课件,展示朗读方式,供学生参考。Read together.? / One by one. / One says English, the others say Chinese. / One says Chinese, the others say English.
3) Chant
2. T: Look and say.播放课件,展示的图片。
Step3:New teaching?
1)T:Let’s enjoy the cartoon. When you hear the words about animals. Please repeat.
? Ss: listen and repeat.
2) Listen and mime.播放第二次课文动画,让学生模仿课文的语音语调。
3) Read the text in your group.(在小组内练习读课文。齐读、分角色读道等各种方式)
? Ss: 小组长组织,选择不同的方式朗读课文。
4) T: Let’s show.
Step 4: Practice
1. Mime, ask and answer.
T: Now, please choose your favourite animal and do the action to imitate it together in your group. Are you clear?
Ss: Practice in groups.
2.Play the game“Lucky Number”幸运数字。
T:Look at the game rule.
规则:由每组的组长选择数字,其他组的同学用:What’s this?或者是What are they?来问。然后本组的同学来回答。
Step5:Outreach activities
1.T:同学们:下面我们来看个短片,里面介绍许多种动物,除了我们今天课堂上学习的这些,你能从里面学到其他动物名称吗?加油吧!
Ss: Look at the TV and repeat.
2. Fill in the blanks
T: All of you did a good job! Now please take out your paper and try to choose the true answer.
Step 7: Summary
Today, we learnt the words about animals. Sentences “What are they? They’re monkeys…”.
(保护动物,人人有责。)
Step7: Homework(家庭作业)
1. Listen to the tape, read the text.(听录音,读课文)
2.调查本小组成员喜欢的动物,并搜集其图片(大小、胖瘦、高矮不一),为下一单元制作“动物乐园”做准备。
