  人与自然关系论文:关于人与自然关系的价值观反思

 摘要:在人与自然关系的问题上,传统的价值观理论存在着很多缺陷,使人与自然的关系发生了异化。本文通过对传统价值观的分析和反思,得出人与自然应建立一种对立统一的生态价值观,并探讨了实现人与自然和谐发展的有效途径,从而实现社会的可持续发展。

 关键词:人类中心主义非人类中心主义

 人与自然和谐发展生态价值观人与自然的关系是人类生存与发展的基本关系,在生态危机日益严重的今天,如何处理好人与自然的关系显得越来越重要。根据人类对自然界进行的实践活动究竟是以人的价值为中心,还是以自然界的价值为中心,形成了两种不同的观点:人类中心主义价值观和非人类中心主义价值观。

 人类中心主义与非人类中心主义价值观

 在人与自然的关系上,人类中心主义价值观主张人是主体,自然是客体。在这里,人类中心主义又分为强势和弱势两种,强势人类中心主义认为:一切以人为中心,人类的整体利益和长远利益高于一切,自然界的存在只是为了人类实现自身价值的工具和手段,为实现人类价值最大化,人类可以肆意掠夺和破坏生态资源环境。弱势人类中心主义认为:人的主体地位,意味着人类在实现自己目的的同时,也要运用科技的手段改造自然和保护自然,但是人类的整体利益和长远利益仍是人类保护自然生态环境的出发点,是促进人类保护自然行为的依据,也是评价人与自然关系的根本尺度。

 不管是强势还是弱势人类中心主义,都暴露出人类的功利性。人类中心主义价值观片面的夸大了人类的认知能力,只承认人对自然界的能动性,不考虑自然界对人的制约性。在这种价值观指导下的实践,就表现为人对自然界的自身存在和内在规律的漠视。事实不断的证明,人类中心主义价值观主张的“人与自然界之间是一种否定和对抗的关系”这一观点是错误的,在人与自然之间的价值关系中,把人确立为唯一的价值和目的中心,形而上学的分离了人和自然界的价值论地位并把它们对立起来,使人类在改造世界的实践中陷入困境,导致了人与自然关系的不和谐。

 随着上世纪中叶的生态危机的突显,非人类中心主义开始兴起,其中最有影响的三个环境伦理流派是:辛格的动物解放论和雷根的动物权利论组成的动物解放/权利论,施韦泽的敬畏生命理念和泰勒的尊重大自然理念表述的生物平等主义,以及由大地伦理学莱奥波尔德)、深层生态学(内斯)、自然价值论(罗尔斯顿)阐发的生态整体主义。他们的观点虽各不相同,但其矛头却是首先指向人类中心主义。非人类中心主义价值观认为,一切生命都具有内在价值,人类应该尊重自然,而不是征服和奴役自然。人能够把自身的价值、利益与自然界其他存在物的价值、利益平等对待,能够在自身的价值观中包容自然界的内在价值,把二者统一起来而不是对立起来。自然界是有机的整体,人类应该保持生态系统的完整。

 非人类中心主义价值观在理论上是理想化的。首先,非人类中心主义价值观忽视了人的主观能动性,认为人与自然是平等的,是没有区别的,否认了人的价值地位。其次,它片面的把人与自然关系恶化的原因归结为“人类”这一概念,认为是人类中心主义造成了今天的生态危机。但是,每个人依据其在社会中所处的地位不同,在环境受益、环境损失和承担环境责上是不同的。最后,环境问题的根本原因在于不合理的社会制度,而在于近代以来“大量生产——大量消费——大量废弃”的生产和生活方式。因此,非人类中心主义价值观撇开环境问题的社会原因不谈,忽视现实中所存在的经济差别,抽象的谈论大自然的权利,这在理论上是说不通的。

 人与自然和谐发展的生态价值观

 传统的价值观不是夸大了人类的力量,就是忽视了人的主观能动性,但这并不是完全否定它们保护自然环境的价值观念。摒弃“人类中心主义”与“非人类中心主义”二元对立的的思维方式,汲取二者合理的观点,构建一种新的价值观——人与自然和谐发展的生态价值观。生态价值观的确立依赖于对整个生态自然界的认识,其内涵包括:

 遵循生态合理性的价值原理

 生态合理性本质上是一种整体合理性的价值观,以整体性、相关性、具体性为原则。生态合理性的价值原理表现为生态整体的合理性、生态因素的平等性、社会文明的协调发展等几方面。以生态价值观为基础的生态合理性,考虑到经济、社会等其他因素,在理论上把价值的主体与客体有机的联系在一起,共同形成生态关系的合理性。

 生态价值观的价值合理性存在于生态整体之中,消除了人类在宇宙中至高无上的价值地位,强调生态整体的合理性和人与自然之间在价值上的平等性,人与自然都存在于多样性的价值主体中,遵循对立统一,共生共荣的价值关系。人类需要一种真正的生存智慧,深刻反省人与自然的关系,提高对人的行为合理性的正确认识和定位。根据以上基本原则,架构以“生态合理性”为核心理念、价值取向和建构原理的新的世界观和方法论,就是合理的价值生态的建构。

 在平等的生命交流基础上重建人与自然的和谐

 自然界是一个有机体,人和其他生物以及无机环境都是这个有机体的组成部分。人类承担着协调有机体各部分功能的职责,人类行使调控者的职责并不是随心所欲的,他不但要考虑人类的利益、价值,而且也要考虑到其他生物的利益、价值。整个生态系统中,人与自然的关系应是一种相互协调、相互制约、和谐发展的共生关系。这种共生关系告诉我们,我们整个地球的生态系统是一个利益整体,其中任何物种包括人类的存在都是目的和手段的统一。自然界的任何生物都是生命的存在,都有其存在的价值,它们与人之间是一种平等的生命的交流和互动。从这个意义上看生命的价值,便决定了人与自然在价值上的平等性。

 保持地球生物多样性,维护生态系统平衡

 生物多样性是指所有来源的活的生物体中的变异性,这些来源包括陆地、海洋和其他水生生态系统及其所构成的生态综合体,这包括物种内、物种之间和生态系统的多样性。生态系统平衡是指一个生态系统在特定时间内通过内部和外部的物质、能量、信息的传递和交流,使系统内部之间、生物与环境之间达到相互适应、协调和统一的状态。生态系统的平衡,很大程度上取决于生态系统内的生物多样性,生物越具有丰富性、完整性,生态系统的结构就越复杂。生态系统平衡是人类生存发展最基本的保障,人类全部的实践活动都是在这个动态平衡的基础上进行的,所以人类应该遵循自然规律,保护生物多样性的价值和延续性,维护大自然的稳定性、完整性和多样性,在人和自然之间建立起一种和谐的伙伴关系。

 实现代内公平与代际公平

 代内公平又分国内公平和国际公平。目前,我国乃至全世界都面临着有限资源代内分配不公平的问题。要想保持整体发展的持续性,需要采取资源环境公正配置的原则,缩小贫富两极分化,建立国际经济新秩序。发达国家应改变其传统的经济发展模式,发展中国家则应选择可持续发展,避免重蹈发达国家的覆辙。

 代际公平也是在人与自然关系的基点上提出来的,地球上的资源是有限的,各代对自然资源的开发利用都应是均等的。前代人的发展不能靠牺牲后代人的利益来维持济增长,这既损害了自己的长远利益,又阻碍了后代人满足自身生存发展需要的条件。人类利用自然资源时要有未来观念,利用生态资源时,在考虑后代人自然资源利益的时间布局基础上,再去进行代内的空间布局。只有实现了代内公平与代际公平,才能最终实现人与自然的和谐。

 生态价值观的实现途径

 要协调好人与自然之间的关系,实现人与自然和谐发展,就要从增强公众环境意识、加强政府调控等多角度进行,下面我们试图从以下四个方面来探讨人与自然和谐的途径。

 加强和发展环境教育,对民众实施人与自然和谐相处的价值观念引导

 加强和发展环境教育的目的是培养人们的生态保护意识,引导人类建立科学的环境观、发展观、消费观,指导人们以可持续发展的方式生活,形成人与自然和谐发展的环境态度与责任感。目前,人类不合理的经实践动已经严重破坏了生态环境:物种灭绝,冰川消融,自然资源枯竭等现状已经严重威胁到整体的生态平衡,要解决这些问题,则必须通过环境教育,培养生态道德素养和合理的实践行为。培养生态道德素养有助于人类建立起对自然的道德情感,合理开发利用自然,做有良好生态道德素养的生态人。培养人类进行合理的实践行为,用良好的生态道德素养去科学的改造世界。环境教育能改变人们的生活方式,提高人对生态环境的关注程度,是建立正确生态价值观的前提和保障,是引导人们建立正确的生态价值观的必要手段。

 建立健全切实可行的环境保护制度及法律法规

 要实现人与自然和谐发展,必须由相关的法律法规体系来保障。在倡导生态文明建设的今天,环境法制建设应坚持“以人为本”的基本原则,体现“经济发展与保护环境相协调”、“人与自然和谐相处”的价值理念,促进现代环境法律保护制度的建立。目前已有的环境法律保护制度是以农业文明、工业文明为基础的,它没有全面的体现环境保护与经济发展相协调的宗旨。保护环境虽然已经成为我国的一项基本国策,但相关的法律制度仍不完善。尤其是地方法规力量薄弱,不能有效解决区域性环境问题。为此,首先要研究一套较为全面、系统的有关环保护境与经济协调的立法体系,并在今后逐步实施,并在执行和监督这两个比较薄弱的环节加大执法力度,严格执法监督,做到有令必行,有禁必止,真正做到树立并发挥法律的权威,从而给生态文明提供坚实的法律保障。

 倡导绿色科技,树立正确的生产消费观

 生态价值观主张可持续发展的观念,促进人类在生产方式和消费方式上进行变革。科学技术的进步是生产力发展的基础,所以人类必须大力发展能够改善生态环境的“绿色”科技,改变以往高消耗、低利用、高污染的线性发展模式,建立节约资源、保护环境的循环经济模式,以最小的投入,取得最大的效益。同时,人们应建立起科学合理的消费观念和消费结构,为当代人的后续消费预留资源,也为后代人的消费预留资源,不能单纯以消费数量增长的指标作为衡量社会进步和个人生活水平提高的唯一标准。

 发展循环经济,走可持续发展之路

 要实现人与自然和谐发展,除了从观念上进行引导,在实践中也要采取相应的措施,实现循环经济就是其中之一。循环经济的实质是生态经济,以低开采、高利用、低排放为基本特征;它的出发点在于减少资源消耗,保护生态环境,力求生态环境与经济综合效益的最优化,并且符合可持续发展战略的目标。它倡导“资源—产品—再生资源”的物质循环过程,最大限度地减少对不可再生资源的耗竭性开采与利用,并应用替代性的可再生资源,主张以资源的再生、循环利用和无害处理为手段,以经济社会可持续发展为目标,推进生态环境保护。这实质上是在技术范式革命的基础上实现人与自然的和谐,建立一种新的经济发展模式。
