语法专题讲与练 名词 l 理论讲解 一、可数名词和不可数名词 1、可数名词复数形式的规则变化有以下几种情形: (1)在词尾直接加s。

如: bed→beds、cup→cups、tree→ trees、 cat→cats (2) 以-ch、-sh、-s、-x结尾的名词加es。

如：watch→watches、 dish→dishes、 glass →glasses、box-boxes (3) 以o结尾的单词，有生命的加es，无生命的加s。

如tomato→tomatoes、potato→potatoes; radio→radios、zoo→zoos、photo→photos。

(4)以-f或-fe结尾的名词一般改f或fe为v，再加es。

如: thief-→thieves、 knife→knives。

(5)以辅音字母加y结尾的名词，先变y为i，再加es。

如fly→flies、factory→factories、story→stories、family→families。

2、可数名词的不规则变化可以分为四种：
(1)单复数同形。如: sheep→sheep、fish→fish、 deer→deer、people→people。

(2)改变单词中的元音字母。如:man→men、 woman→ women、foot→feet、tooth→teeth (3)词尾加en或ren。如: child-children、ox→oxen (4)特殊变化。如: mouse- mice。

(5)各国人的复数形式：中日不变，英法变，其他国人加s。

如：Chinese→Chinese、Japanese→Japanese、Englishman→Englishmen、Frenchman→Frenchmen、German→Germans、American→Americans... 1. 复合名词前面的名词是man、woman,变复数时，构成复合名词的两个名词都要变成复数形式；
如果是其他词，变复数时，只需要把后面的名词变成复数形式。如：man teacher→men teachers、boy student→boy students. 3、不可数名词的数 不可数名词所表示的事物不可以用个数来计算。不可数名词没有单复数的变化，需要表示数量时，要借助量词。如: a cup of coffee、 a piece of bread、 a bottle of milk、a bowl of rice。

二、名词所有格 名词所有格表示物体的所属关系。

1、表示有生命的人或物的名词所有格，一般用’s来表示。

(1)一般在单数名词的词尾加’s，如my mother＇s bag、lily’s book。

(2)以s结尾的复数名词只加’，不以s结尾的复数名词要加’s，如: the twins’ school、the students＇ books, the children＇ s pens。

(3)表示几个人共有，仅在最后一个人的名字后加’s;表示各自所有时，需在各个名字后加’s，如: Mary and Jerry’s mother(玛丽和杰里的妈妈)， Mary’s and Jerry’ s mothers(玛丽和杰里各自的妈妈)。

2、表示无生命或低等生命的事物的所有格用”名词+of+所有者”，如: the name of the dog。
