 教学步骤 Step I

  复习 呈现 Simon 的图片,在教师与学生的复习性对话中引入新课。提出以下问题,板书画线部分生词,教师进行解释和带读:

 Who is he? He is Simon.

 Does he look happy? Yes, he does. Does he like football? Yes, he does. Is he a football player? Yes, he is. 教师补充答案:

 Simon plays football on the school football team, and he wants to score for the football team.

 Step II

  阅读 1. 呈现李华的图片(可用教材第 16 页上的图):Look at this boy! Who is he? What does he do? Do you want to know about him? Open your books at page 16. Let’s read the news article about him. 2. 在幻灯片上显示问题, 教师解释生词和短语。让学生快速浏览短文,查找答案。

 以下问题供参考:

 Who is he?

 (He is Li Hua.) What does he do?

 (He is a football player.) Which football team does he play for?

 (He plays for Huanghe Football Team.) Is he the newest member in it?

 (Yes, he is.) Is he good at scoring goals?

  (Yes, he is.) What does he want to do?

 (He wants to play in the next World Cup.)

 Step III

  练习 1. 告诉学生 Simon 听到广播上在播放李华的新闻,他想做笔记,请同学们帮他一起完成教材第 16 页的 A1 部分(先通过阅读短文介绍将知道的信息先填好,然后再听录音,将剩下的信息补充完整):Do you want to learn more about Li Hua? Please listen carefully to the radio programme about Li Hua. Help Simon complete the notes on page 16. 2. 再放一次录音,让学生核对答案。学生彼此交流,教师最后与全班核对答案。

 3. 学生有了足够的信息就可以完成第 17 页 A3 部分的练习,教会学生运用从各种途径取得的信息来完成任务:Now you know something about Li Hua. Can you use your notes to help Simon write an article about Li Hua? Turn to page 17 and finish Part A3. 4. 如有必要,再放一次录音。

 Step IV

  听力 1. 告诉学生 Daniel 和 Sandy 正在讨论他们学校的足球运动员 Frank, 让学生听他们的对话并回答问题:Now, Daniel and Sandy are talking about their favourite football player, Frank. Close your books. Listen carenfully and answer the following questions.

  Who is the football player?

 Does he often score for his school football team?

 (Yes, he does.) 2. 打开书核对答案,解释有关短语。把全班同学分成两组朗读对话,然后再分成两人小组互相回答。鼓励同学们互相帮助,以书上的对话为范例谈论实际生活中自己喜爱的明星。

 3. 学生两人一组上台表演对话。教师及时表扬有创意的对话。
