　中考初中英语重点短语讲解 第 1 组：

　1. be good at: 擅长 I was good at writing English compositions. 我擅长写英语作文。

　2. be good for : 对…有用/有好处/有利 This medicine is good for a cold 这种药对感冒有好处。

　3. be afraid of (doing) something : 害怕某事/害怕做某事 I am afraid of snakes. 我还怕蛇。

　He was afraid of losing face. 他担心丢面子。

　第 2 组：

　4. be afraid to do something: （因没有勇气）不敢做某事，害怕做某事 Don`t be afraid to ask for help : 不要害怕请求帮忙。

　He is afraid of being beaten by his father. 他怕被他爸打。

　5. arrive in/at = get to = reach : 到达 arrive in 表示到达达地点， My best friend arrived in Australia last Monday. 我最好的朋友上周一到达了澳大利亚。

　arrive at 表示到达小地点 The visitors arrived at the hotel this morning. 游客们今天早上到达了宾馆。

　6. be made of 用…制成（看的出原材料）

　The book is made of paper 书是由纸制成的 7. be made from 用…制成（看不出原材料）

　The paper is made from wood. 纸是由木头制成的。

　8. be/get used to doing something : 习惯于做某事 He was used to staying up late. 他习惯于熬夜。

　9. used to : 过去常常做某事 She used to do all the baking on Thursday. 过去她常常在周四烤东西。

　第 4 组：

　10. be used to do something : 用来做某事 Wood is used to make paper. 木头用来做纸。

　11. In front of : 指在外部空间的前面

　There are some trees in front of the house. 房子前面有一些树。

　12. In the front of : 指在空间内部的前面 The driver sits in the front of the bus. 司机坐在公交车前面。

　1. be angry at/about something : 因某事而生气 Tom was angry at some impolite things. 汤姆对一些不礼貌的事感到生气。

　2. be angry with somebody : 对某人生气 Don`t make the same mistake again or your teacher will be angry with you. 不要再犯同样的错误，否则你的老师会生你的气。

　3. be famous for : 以…著称， 因… 闻名 Guilin is famous for its beautiful mountains and water. 桂林因美丽的山水而闻名。

　4. forget to do something: 忘记要做某事，该事情没有做 I forgot to close the window. 我忘记关窗户了。（窗户没关）

　5. forget doing something : 忘记做了某事，该事情已经做过了 He forgot cleaning the blackboard. 他忘记已经擦过黑板了。（黑板擦过了）

　6. be busy with/doing something：忙于做某事 I`m busy preparing my final exam those days. 这几天我在忙着准备期末考试。

　7. cut down: 消减 We cut down the price of the car to $350. 我们把汽车的价格降到 350 美元。

　8. cut off: 切断，切下来 Be careful, don`t cut your fingers off 小心，别把手指切下来。

　9. be covered with : 被… 覆盖

　The desk is covered with books 书桌被书覆盖着。

　10. leave a message: 留言 She is not in the office, Could you leave a message? 她不在办公室， 你能留言吗 ？ 11. take a message: 带口信 She asked me to take a message t him. 她让我给他带个口信。

　12. live on: 靠…生活 You can`t live on 200 calories a day. 你不能一天靠 200 卡路里生活。
